Lead Installation Technician
Reports to: Operation Manager
Goals and Outcomes: Responsible for installing audio, video systems based off of project documentation such as scope of work, line drawings, elevations and floor plans.
Assemble A/V systems to predefined specifications
Rack fabrication and wiring
Determine the resources needed to complete new installations based on plans
Travel to customer sites for installation/testing of systems
Communicate with customers and peers throughout the spec, build and installation phases
Troubleshoot systems including signal flow, software and basic networking issues
Represent Media Support Group in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Productively interface with all team members
Understand and follow Media Support Group policies and procedures.
Demonstrate respect to co-workers, customers and vendors.
Be respectful in the care and handling of all company and client owned resources.
Current familiarity with commercial audiovisual equipment
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to climb ladders, lift over 50lbs, work in tight spaces
Willingness to travel
