Another exciting college basketball season is in the books!
For the second year in a row, Lubbock Christian University (LCU) was selected to host the NJCAA Women's National Basketball Championship. LCU's Rip Griffin Center is outfitted with an MSG production system powered by NewTek, capable of running up to four cameras, instant replay and graphics. This system program is used to broadcast to television, the web and to the video board in the arena.
The system is also capable of broadcasting play-by-play announcers to the web stream, keeping fans engaged in the game. The announcers conveniently sit courtside with a video monitor to see the final web stream, allowing them to comment on replays and graphics.
The NJCAA has partnered with BlueFrame Technology to not only bring live action to the fans via web streaming, but also provide on-demand content straight from the conference's website to be watched at a later time. BlueFrame has also released a new app that is compatible with Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV Roku boxes and other content streaming devices to deliver the games directly to your TV.
